ISLANDS - I was born and brought up on the beautiful Isle of Mull, another landscape I know well and it inspired my second map. It also has an iconic shape.

MULL RALLY- The Isle of Mull continues to give me inspiration, combined with a husband who is mad about cars and who has been visiting the Mull Rally for over 25 years, means this map has been great fun to create. The map includes the stages driven, key places and words associated with the Rally itself.
NEXT ISLAND - Islay has a number of connections for me with family routes on the island, friends with a holiday home here and our own house being named after one of the island's whiskies - so this was another must for a word map.
ISLE OF LISMORE - this was inspired after various chats with retailers at Scotland's Trade Fair in January. This wonderful island is a little gem laying off the coast of Argyll, accessiable from Port Appin by foot or by Oban if you feel the need to take a car.
ISLE OF ARRAN - a word map of Arran has always been on my list of do's and I'm so very pleased to have now completed it. I have lovely neighbours who used to live on the island and very kindly provided me with lots of information. I was also very lucky that the staff of the Arran Distillery offered support and encouragement in pulling the final version together - thank you to everyone for their help.
ISLE OF SKYE - my sister lived on the island for a number of years and I was lucky to be able to visit and explore this beautiful island. The stunning scenery, mountain ranges and it's history all mean it is much loved and visited by many. I have tried to capture some of this in this word map of Skye.
Barra - I was asked to make a word map of the Isle of Barra for a friend who had family connections on this beautiful remote island.

ISLE OF BUTE - this beautiful island has much to offer with wonderful views out over the Kyles of Bute to the West and over the Clyde to the East. Not forgetting a fantastic visit to Mount Stuart.
